This auto feeder is great. It's admittedly the only one I've owned but it's met the mark every time. It's reliable, looks sleek, and my cat loves it. It's really that simple. It works, it's reliable, easy to clean, easy to program, easy to load food into. I also love the quick portion button when I know kitty needs extra food.Sometimes I wish I'd splurged for the model that has the app but after doing some research, I didn't feel like it was worth it for me. Programming truly is not hard, but I don't think it's necessarily intuitive. An app would make it easier to quickly switch things up when our plans change for a day. I just didn't like that you couldn't use the app when away from home. My other "would be nice" is if the kibble size was marginally bigger. We have to use Hills Science Rx dry food and the size is RIGHT on the marker for the max size. I'm always worried the food is going to get jammed or that the portions are going to be inconsistent. When we used PrettyPlease food (from PrettyLitter) it was perfect. My only other complaint is that the button on the lid seems to be in the midst of breaking. It constantly pops out of place. My kitty knows what's inside, but I've never seen him mess with the feeder so I think it's just a faulty piece.All that aside, I still love this feeder and have zero regrets buying it. I've recommended it to quite a few family members. It's such a nice addition to our home and routine.

I did purchase these for my two cats, who haunt us at 4 a.m. every morning to feed them their wet food. I decided to get these to time them out with dry food snacks until we wake up at 6 a.m.The product itself is great and well made, and it works great on the app. You can record your voice and schedule feeds and how much of a portion. If you have a hungry gremlin like us, I bought heavy-duty Velcro to secure it from being knocked over, and it works amazing! I suggest that.I am still training them that it will come out at 4 a.m. to get them both at their bowls. My one girl is still getting used to the sound it makes when it releases the food. It's not bad at all, but she's a nervous nelly, so I wake up with them every morning, get them used to it releasing, and monitor them while they eat. I am hoping that within a few weeks, I can have them sitting there waiting for their food to come out, lol. Fingers crossed. Great product.

Overall, great product. It's a little pricy for what you get, but for the few days I've had it, it's worked very well. It was very easy to unbox (it ships right in the product box, so that arrived damaged but the unit is very well packaged and secure), and clean and set up for first time use. It holds plenty of cat food!The app was very easy to install and set up; I don't know why people had difficulty with it, but I do appreciate reading other reviews first so I understood that "feed 1" means the smallest possible portion size. I have one slender cat who, if fed a normal portion will eat it all too quickly and puke. This product is a great solution with a few caveats; I have it set to feed my cat at 615am, 645am, 715am, and 745am, "1 feed" portion each. So far so good- spacing out the smaller portion feedings has given her time to digest and slow her eating down. I'm hoping she'll stop yeowling for breakfast every morning, but it's only been a few days so we'll see how that goes over time.The few nitpicks I have which is why this is 4 stars: It's pretty pricy. The portion sizes are adjustable but I wish the smallest portion was smaller. Giving her 4 portions amounts to more than 1/4 cup of cat food, which is the max I give her per meal to maintain her weight since she's a smaller, 9lb cat and I want to keep her healthy. I cannot imagine giving any animal except a sizable dog a larger portion; maybe a multi-cat family where the cats don't steal each others food! Finally, I wish the lid/cap secured better on the top of the machine. My cat is clever and likes to break into things; I am already tempted to tape this lid down to make sure it doesn't spill a lb of dry food everywhere when she eventually knocks it over (and she will). I wish the lid was more secure. It sits in place ok, but I can see her prying it off. Time will tell how well it stays with a relatively aggressive cat.Overall, for the few days I've had it, it's dispensed exactly as I expected. I tested it thoroughly before setting it up for her morning meals, and it does what it says it will do!

Hace un mes aproximadamente compre la máquina que se debe programar manualmente. Tengo 2 cachorros y por lo tanto encargué 2 máquinas, primero la normal y después la que tiene Wifi, Ayer me llego la maquina con wifi, duro un poco más en llegar que la máquina normal. Haciendo una comparación entre ambas, la verdad es que las 2 cumplen muy bien con su función , que es, alimentar a mis mascotas sin problema, sin embargo, a la hora de programar los horarios de las comidas, si es más fácil hacerlo en la máquina con Wifi, pero créeme, cualquiera de las 2 cumple con la función, asà que si no te es posible comprar la de Wifi, compra la normal, no te decepcionará.Dentro de la caja viene una tarjeta de regalo por 20 dólares, pero estos te los dan en moneda canadiense, en mi caso, soy mexicano, por lo tanto no me funcionaba que estuviera en esa moneda, sin embargo, por medio del correo electrónico que te proporcionan en la misma tarjeta, me brindaron ayuda con la tarjeta de regalo y me la cambiaron por dólares estadounidenses, con los cuales si pude comprar cosas. I am very happy with the quality and function of my PETLIBRO. It's quite easy to program and follows the schedule exactly with no issues. I had to play around with the portion sizes a bit to get it just right for my cat, but I've got it set just right for him now. My cat does not self regulate the amount of food he eats, so just leaving a huge bowl of kibble when we are away is not an option. He just gorges himself on the food until he gets sick. The PETLIBRO feeder solves this problem by feeding him the exact portion sizes he needs, when he needs it. I especially like the voice recording feature, that lets him know when his food is ready. One thing to make note of - be sure that the stainless steel bowl liner is seated properly into the bowl. If it's sticking up at the back where the chute is, a line of kibble will form along the edge and create a dam. Just push down on the liner to make sure it's properly seated and you won't have any issues.As a suggestion for future versions of the feeder, it would be nice to be able to turn the program mode on and off without clearing the entire program each time. Kind of like how I can turn my water sprinklers off without having to redo the schedule each time. Another enhancement would be to wi-fi enable the feeder, so that I can program it using an app on my phone. This would be easier than using the small LCD display on the device itself to program it. An app could show me the full schedule on one page and make it easy to make changes to the feeding times or portion sizes.Great product though, and I highly recommend it to any cat owner!

Tried for ages to find a feeder that my cat couldn’t break into. This is it. Easy to programme and has a huge hopper for the dry cat food or kibble. Can record a message to call your kitty when it is feeding time. Looks great too!

Had to test to get the right portion control i was happy with. Not had any issues and was easy to set up, would recommend for anyone. Allows you to gain independence and not worry about getting back to feed your pets especially if you are gone for a day or two.
