Put a kitchen towel under the middle of the wooden based when using heavy weight to press I'm order to prevent bending and eventual breaking of the bottom wooden board. Not a bad price for the home cheesemaker.

Work very well, but need to supply weights for specific cheeses other than that works perfectly. We have already made one batch of cheese and about to start on the second.

I’ve made several small batches of cheese with this press and it did fine. I put it to the test last night when I made a 3lb wheel of cheddar. The final weight it called for was 140lb. Both me and my wife were skeptical but I stacked two 60lb dumbbells and one 20lb dumbbell on top of it. It stayed up there about 15 hours and was solid as a rock. Great cheese press.

Absolutely 💯 junk put 15 pounds of pressure on the screws and the thin wood is bowed like a banana. And if you need new hardware buy all new rods and hardware because there 5/16 does not match any 5/15 here in the us.

Worked for what it is made for. The wood seems thinner than it should be and flexes when tight. So much so that it could break if you only put one mold in the middle. Works pretty good for two molds at once because it allows less flexing. You will also need some washers to go under the wing nuts otherwise they will eat into the wood pretty bad. The hole in the top and bottom wood piece are drilled a little larger than the bottom face of the wing nut and that is what creates the prob. For any kind of longevity get yourself some washers.
