Fountain looks very nice and has a good bubbler feature. Also handy is that the blue light turns red when the water level is low. Was easy to add more water. The only problem is that our cat did not want to change from his old water dish! You never know with a cat...

I found it helps tremendously to have extra filters for the cat waterer. That way, there is ample time for the filter to be disinfected and completely dried out between uses. I use vinegar and sunshine to clean the filters, then reuse them.

I have two Outlast fountains. The filter works for less than a week and I have to rinse the filter off. It gets blocked too quickly because not enough water reaches the spindle and the light blinks red.

My cat loved his fountain although he was a bit sight impaired and had to try and get close to water flow. I think a wider or more larger cover flow for those like my Oj was.he went to heaven on Friday
