Following the cleaning routine which is advised for your cat fountain, this will actually work to extend beyond the warranty.Now my cats are spoiled and definitely shun the old-fashioned water bowl: they want it cleaned daily.With the cat fountain properly maintained, I only need to clean the cat’s water fountain every 2 weeks, as directed by the manufacturer.And, the cats drink more water because they like to lap it up as it fountains down.An added benefit: I get to hear a trickling fountain adding a peaceful sound to my home.

They work as advertised. They claim a life of a month but I can let mine go for 3 months before any mold shows up. The fountain this fits is far too small for a large cat. My 25 lb Manx can empty the fountain in 3 days. I'm trying to get him set up so I can go on trips for up to a week. I'll probably put the fountain in a larger container.

The product is exactly as shown in the photo. The filters are individually wrapped to stay clean, and the sponges are a lifesaver for my long haired cat. I don't want him drinking his own fur on top of cleaning himself. His fountain never smells funny, and his water is always crystal clear. I put these on subscription so I don't forget
