I have a JackChi who will dart out when someone opens the door. She will follow or take off like a crazed gray hound! I own three of these!!! We take them on vacation to Grandma’s house. My parents are a little slower moving and do not notice her behind them when they open an outside door or any door. They can tell her to stay then turn around and she is in the room before they are. No more. 5 star review for these mini barriers.My dog is a foodie and will eat more than her body weight. She can get on a chair and onto the table and eat your entire takeout bag. Now I can leave food in a bowl on the table open and she will leave it. She now respects the doors and the table even without her collar on. It only took one shock, yes one, shock and she now respects the beep. I am amazed at how well this works!!

My cat is food obsessed and was overweight despite all my best efforts. His jumping on counters and the table to steal food was a big part of this.I had more or less accepted this as our fate, but then I got a puppy, and he started knocking things off the counter that the dog would then chew. I felt like it was only a matter of time before I left something dangerous to the dog or irreplaceable to me on the counter because I am human.He has finally stopped due to this system and lost the last 2 lbs we've been working on. He is unhappy about it and drives me a little crazy asking for food, but I will take that over him or my dog getting into something terrible and him being unhealthy from being obese.It only took a day for him to stop jumping on my table and counters, so I don't feel like he is being corrected all the time; he can be pretty stubborn and unflappable, so I was grateful something finally worked.

I ordered the whole kit and it worked great. My dog hasn't stepped foot in that area even without the collar.Don't order the "barrier only" they sent a much smaller one that seems to not cover the range or be as effective. So unless they made a mistake sending the smaller product.... it aint worth it just spend the extra $20 to get the whole package with the appropriate barrier cuz it works.

I bout 3 of these. I even changed (purchased) a new transmitter and 2 collars for our underground fence so that they are compatable with these barriers. They don't even give a 1ft radius..they do nothing and my dogs still go where they shouldn't. Ive played with the chanels to see if one works better than the other in transmiitting, nope. Complete waste of money on the devices and having to change my system and collars. Zero stars.

I bought this sanity saver to keep our Beagle out of the kitchen. If you know anything about beagles, they are freaking smart..too smart. In 1 day our over stuffed burrito beagle ate 1/2 a lasagna and 3/4 of a pot roast. In less than 10 minutes while I answered the door. It was a battle of witts and that little heathen was winning! I tried a static matt.....he figured if he ran really fast he could bypass the system. I put child locks on cabinets..Houdini learned to pick locks...many many many loaves of bread and bagels gone in seconds. For the first time since we rescued this little jerk ( I say this with love cause he's our jerk now) I with confidence say I have WON!!! Take that BINKS!! So since I have purchased this sanity saver he has not once been in the kitchen! And..he can't figure out to bypass it because there is none. I can now cook in peace, leave things on th3 counter while I'm prepping with no anxiety. ( he was on our gas stove once) BRILLIANT!!! I don't know about the battery life. I do know we are a month in and still going strong. I have the base on the floor up against the kick plate. Looks like a smoke detector to be honest. Money well spent and since he can no longer fill up on carbs, I'm happy to announce he's lost 9 pounds. Happy home once again.

Easy to assemble and get going. The antenna in the mini disk is not omnidirectional. It is very linear/planer. I have to keep the unit up on a box to keep it in line with the collar on my Lab’s neck. This is kind of a pain as the box is in a doorway so that the Lab doesn’t eat all the cat food. On a positive note, it will get the Labs attention if he gets too close! The mini unit is also super short range. At Christmas I wanted to put it under the tree to keep the cat from going in the tree but I really don’t think it has enough range to discourage her. I wish I bought the full sized unit, not the mini. They were the same price, I just goofed up buying. My bad :(

I have four dogs; two are rambunctious puppies whose territory inside the house we've had to restrict. The pucks and bars available from PetSafe work beautifully; they're lightweight and portable, but my littles give them a wide berth. We move the barriers around the house according to where we are and our ability to keep our eyes on the little scamps. The pucks work best for smaller areas, like keeping the littles from dashing behind the sofa, and the bars are better for doorways, so we use both according to our needs. The beeping is enough to urge them to take a step back; only rarely have they actually engaged the vibration, which didn't hurt them at all, just startled them unpleasantly. My waggles know that when Mommy moves the barrier, it's play time!

Oui, pleins de commentaires positifs ! Mais c'est que pour la version Américaine, les français n'ont droit qu'a la version EU.Quelle différence me direz-vous, elle est énorme.C'est à dire que le collier ne se déclenche que si on est a 20-30 cm de distance en test réel (1-2 feet annoncé), prenez la règle de trousse de vos enfants et vous verrez que c'est rien du tout comme zone. 70 € pour avoir un une zone tranquille de 25 cm de rayon, ça ne les vaut pas du tout.Alors que la version américaine va de 30 cm de rayon a 3,5 m (2-12 feet annoncé) et ce pour le même prix. C'est une différence monstre !Le choc électrique fait son effet, mais je ne recommande pas du tout pour la faible zone de protection que ça crée... De plus ça ne se déclenche que de temps en temps car les poils empêchent le courant de passer !Très déçu !

Algo que el anuncio no menciona es que no es apto para gatos muy pequeños, los electrodos del collar no tocan la piel si el animal es muy pequeño, es recomendable para gatos adultos. Funciona bien a veces, he notado que no siempre al ingresar al rango del emisor el animal no recibe la advertencia adecuadamente, desconozco a qué se beba! Si funciona para mantener al animal alejado de ciertos lugares, cosas o áreas de la casa. Para los gatos muy desastrosos viene de maravilla! Pero cabe mencionar que el precio es elevado pero aún asà vale la pena hacerse de este equipo y adicionalmente adquirir más repetidores.
