Mill has a notch taken out of the wood. Pretty disappointing for the price, but Amazon sent a replacement, so no big deal, right? Not so fast, The replacement was completely trashed - looks worse than the first AND wobbles when sitting. I’m sending them both back and paying full price ($95) from the manufacturer. These must be factory second quality that they’re selling as new and not disclosing. Careful!

Die Salzmühle von Peugeot hält was sie verspricht. Die Mühle aus Buchenholz ist hochwertig verarbeitet und schaut edel aus. Das Mahlwerk macht nach einigen Testläufen auch einen sehr guten Eindruck. Das Feature des Mahlgrades ist eine nette und praktische Idee. Leider kommt bei der Verwendung von grobem Meersalz erst ab Mahlgradstufe 4 von 5 eine akzeptable Menge Salz aus der Mühle. ( Daher ein Stern Abzug)Alles in allem sind die hochpreisigen Mühlen von Peugeot sowei von Monopol niemals eine Fehlentscheidung für Kochfans die auf Qualität setzen ;-)

Wir haben uns die Salz- und auch die Pfeffermühle gekauft und sind mit beiden Mühlen sehr zufrieden. Die Mahlwerke sind sehr gut einzustellen und wirken sehr robust. Auch der optische Eindruck ist perfekt und ist auch bei einem festlich gedeckten Tisch ein schönes Dekorationsstück.

Klasse, macht einen Wertingen Eindruck. Leise und präzise einstellbar. Ich hätte die vorherigen Projekte mit Bodum (Mahlwerk defekt) und WMF (Mahlwerk defekt) lieber lassen sollen und das Geld gleich in die Peugeot investieren sollen, dann hätte ich wirklich was gespart.

Eigentlich eine Frechheit. Kam pünktlich und schnell. Nur war diese schon gebraucht und defekt. War sogar noch salut drin.
