I purchased this to use with leather cording that is round and 2mm. I learned that *you really have to* follow the instructions that are here on the product listing, including first carefully burning the ends of the leather cording before applying glue. I had tried doing the process without that step. When I tried to insert the end tip of the leather cord into the metal cord end tube, while the glue was still wet, the cord just got smashed and became thicker in diameter and then really didn't fit the tube. I recommend using cyanoacrylate glue with thin viscosity. It comes with precision tips. (Same as superglue or glue for artificial fingernails) But, before applying the glue to the inside of the tube (less than a drop), burn the ends of the leather cord with a lighter, let it cool, then scrape some of the carbon off the burned ends with your fingernails, so that the diameter of the cord is slightly smaller. When I did this, the cord fit the tube without the glue overflowing, and it finished very tightly and neatly. I had looked all over Amazon for metal cord ends that were of this glue-on type but that had a slightly larger diameter and couldn't find any that weren't too big. Also, use tweezers or pliers so you don't get your finger skin bonded together in the process!

I like the ideas different colors but the size is perfect for small hands but not for me

This worked great for making mask lanyards for kids and adults. Some of the pieces were defective. But better than others that have been tried.

Works perfectly with 2mm cord, I used a craft super glue to glue the cords inside, it did not come with glue.

The holes are just a bit too small for a 2 mm cord. I had to trim the end of my cord on an angle to be able to fit it into this cord end.
