Great jacket! Brought for my 3 and 5 year old sons before our ski trip. They were comfortable and warm! Great price and quality!

This jacket has a lot of features for the price. It's a good value if you won't use the jacket too much, or have a tight budget. The fabric is thin but if it's waterproofed as labeled, then it will be great. There are plenty of zip pockets and adjustable cuffs - however the cuff tabs are very narrow and hard to close an the zippers are a lower quality than other brands (as in they look like #3 size instead of #5 which is standard and more tough, and the pulls are very thin) - but they should last a while and they look pretty cool!So if you won't use too roughly, this is a fantastic choice to get through a single cold season or a few days skiing. I would have kept it, since my 12 year old is growing inches every month... but he didn't really care for the color (he chose an orange option over green). My only real issue was the size and quality of the snaps on the hood and powder skirt - they would not stay closed and the hood kept coming off, just trying the jacket on. Too small of a snap size was used for this purpose. Last thing I need is for him to lose a hood while skiing!Despite a couple concerns with zip strength and small snaps on the hood - I do think this is a very nice option at a great price. You do get cool looking exposed zip pockets, inner cuffs and a powder skirt - hard to find at a low price. The fabric and warmth of this coat is the most important aspect, and both are pretty decent!I'd probably give it 4 stars for overall quality to a high standard, but really for the price point, I think this is worth 5 stars. And now that I see so many kids with orange jackets on the ski slope, I kinda wish he had this unique green one instead!

We live where it gets very cold, and I took a chance ordering this jacket for my son instead of a ski/snowboard coat that would be at least double the price, and he would grow out of in minutes. This coat has everything you need for skiing and snow play -- there is an optional skirt/barrier so snow doesnt get up your back, it is very warm, waterproof, an inner sleeve lining with thumb holes to prevent snow up the sleeve, and all the zipper pockets you need for a day on the slopes.

This is our second jacket this brand. The zippers hold up. The colors are bright and easy to spot. They are warm. It would be nice if there was a way to secure the hood so if doesn’t flip off. I would also like to see new colors with matching snow pants.

Great coat, great brand! I read several "not great" reviews for this brand but we have had nothing but positive experiences! We are on our second phibee winter jacket and they are a new favorite for us! We live in MN and often get sub zero (-40) windchill. This jacket kept my son super warm and he feels so stylish!! Quality wise, its very well put together, zippers are smooth, i just cant say enough good things about it!

I picked this up after reading all of the positive reviews- and I'm so glad I did. My son has been wearing this jacket for skiing in Michigan- and he has said he's been very warm and dry! He's also used it for playing out in the snow, and again has commented that he's very warm in it. Big plus in my book. It's also a fraction of the cost of other name brand ski jackets- which is a plus because my kids grow out of everything rather quickly. The colors are great, nice and bright design. I also think it's held up nicely- no rips or tears even with the falls that have occurred. All in all I would recommend this for skiing, or any outdoor winter activity where it can get cold!
