I needed a really really easy to install doorbell when I sold my previous house. This took less than 5 minutes to install. It looks clean and nice. Perfect.It does not light up. But, I didn't want one that lights up.

It’s physically larger than the typical doorbell and the mounting holes are in a different place. Otherwise it appears to be fine. It’s also plastic so you won’t get rust from the mild steel doorbell, housing or steel screws. That usually accompany this kind of doorbell.

We needed an indoor button for our garage door opener. My electrician friend easily (for him) made it function that way even thought it's meant as a doorbell button. It is in our entry right under our alarm control box, on our white wall, and it looks nice (in other words, not noticeable!). Inexpensive too!

Liked the look and feel. Everything was easy about the install. Once installed my doorbell would only chime for the length of time the button was pressed. If you have more than a basic "ding dong" sound you may want to question if this is the right one for you. I found that it was missing a very little item that my old one had. I don't know what it's called, sorry, but it looked like a very small old fashion fuse to me. Putting my old doorbell back on confirmed that the little thing corrected the issue.For further testing I touched the wires together and the same thing occurred.... the doorbell only sounded while the wires were touched.

Works okay, very stiff. Will probably upgrade to a ring camera doorbell soonish. If you need something decent quality that looks good for the time you need it, it works for that.
