After a decade with the same office phone, I had a cord that was irremediably twisted. I tried taking it out and retwisting it, but the damage was done- it would retwist, making it hard to pull the receiver far from the base. So, I decided to look for a replacement and discovered this combo with the rotational tool. It works well, as my title says- easy to install and does the job- I can pull the receiver a good distance away from the base and when at rest, it looks good! Not life changing, but nice to have something that works!

The spinner that prevents the cord from tangling makes the phone click and cut out. The cord is fine - don't waste your money on the detangler.

I’m a high school teacher, and my classroom phone cord takes a beating when I’m on the phone looking at my computer screen and people are knocking on the door, so I stretch out the cord going back and forth. The phone cord is always in tangles regardless of stretching it out not. I bought this little gadget, and it really works!
