This is hands down one of my best purchases I have ever made online. The quality of not only the basket, but all the pieces contained within it are exceptional. My only possible complaint is that there are only two food containers and once everything is in the basket, there is no real room for food. If you eat light, it's not a problem, but I end up having to carry another bag with me full of food whenever I go on a picnic.I bought this basket to attach to my commuter bike, though, and it works for that. I have a matching front basket, so I usually fill that with the rest of the food if I'm doing a day picnic I can ride to. It has brought me great joy. The blanket is soft flannel and not substantial, but if you use it just to sit on, it is highly functional. The basket is top-heavy without food in it due to the stainless steel cutlery and the porcelain plates. The wine glasses are glass and the mugs are stainless steel as well. The napkins are cloth and there is even a carrying case that the food containers fit into. Essentially, if you are looking for a high-class picnic basket, this is it!Overall I can't rave about this basket enough.

We bought this for ourselves and as a wedding gift. We've used it a few times, and it is beautiful, but with all the glass you have to be very careful where you take it, wind conditions, etc. Yesterday we opened up the thermos for the first time ever to use, filled it up, and it leaked all over the basket. The black part that snaps into the close mechanism was just sitting in the bottom of the thermos in the cucumber water. We tried everything and think it had to be shipped broken - someone in assembly just closed it together with the broken piece in the thermos. It could not have broken in the shipping.For this price, it should all be in perfect order. It's too bad it was a long time after we bought it that we discovered this. So if you buy it, check it all out immediately, even things you might not think you will use. I could not figure out how to contact the manufacturer to get a thermos replacement. This review may help! I hope the people we gifted it to did also not have problems!

I got this as a wedding gift for one of my best friends and his new wife. They consider it to be among the best things they received and were super excited about it every time they found a new feature. They went on a picnic adventure to a local vineyard and were barraged with comments and questions and compliments on the set.My personal impressions are that it is a very nice and complete set. The quality is pretty good...although the weave on the wicker could use a little improvement. All the materials were pretty nice for the price I got it for on Amazon, but I might have been a little disappointed if I had to pay full retail on it.There is plenty of room inside for anything you might want to bring on a two person afternoon or evening in the park, and the weight (despite all the items) is very manageable. The suitcase style handle definitely makes it easy to carry.I really kind of want one for myself now, and would have no issues with recommending this to a friend or getting another myself.

Really like this basket. Gave it as an anniversary gift and it was sturdy and apparently well designed for a complete picnic for 2. I carried it luggage style a couple of hundred yards from parking area to our little knoll. This is for leisurely picnics. I wouldn't like to jump this down miles of trail. Backpack style picnic carries would better suit that roll. On the plus side though it looks beautiful and adds to the traditional picnic ambiance. Please Note: On one side there is a removable wicker partion which would presumably protect the wine bottle. However, we found that the wine sleeve and other accrutemon gave a snug enough fit and so we took it out and used the saved space for other items. However I could see us using the partion in the future to protect fruit or potatoe chips from getting squished.Lastly the one bad note was that one of the wine glass stems was broken upon initial opening. But other than that I am very pleased with this basket.
