remember the in ear earphone with early 60's am radios? This speaker is worse! Very low volume and distorted make it unusable.

The sound quality on this seems to vary dependent on the direction of the jack and if the wires are at all twisted or bent. Like older headphones, really.It's lightweight and low-profile, so it slides under a pillow nicely. When the sound is unhindered, it's clear and understandable.For the price, it works as expected.

Pros: Made a good pillow speaker, while it lasted..Cons: After using it a few times, I happened to grab too much of the wire, instead of the connector, and the wire pulled completely out. I didn't even notice a tug. It really wasn't trying.I've seen this happen with really cheap phone charging cables. Consumers should not tolerate sloppy product design. This is 2023 for crying out loud. This should never happen!!!
