Definitely the best option in the market right now to get the entire set, as it is value for money. You get the entire six pens for half the price if you try to buy all individually. The pens themselves are lightweight, give a better feel in the hand and write smoother. The only complaint is the design as they are all having the same caps and body design, which doesn’t give a high quality feeling. Overall, a well worth purchase.

When I ordered these pens, it took a month for them to arrive. It was well worth the wait. Whether you like (or want to learn) calligraphy, art journaling or experimenting with color, you will love these pens.The cartridges can be refilled (you will need a blunt syringe) and will work with most fountain pen friendly inks, including the shimmer inks. The thin plastic nib cleaner can be used to clean the nib if those shimmer particles block it. Don't bother with a converter. The CON-40 is tiny.These pens can be easily disassembled for deep cleaning if necessary.You can touch the nibs together to transfer ink from one pen to another (make sure it is the same brand of ink - they don't all play well together) to get an ombre effect. If you don't already have a lot of inks, get the Pilot Mixable Colour Ink multipack. It's very reasonably priced.It does take some practice to learn to use these pens. Go slow at first. The ink will bleed through cheap copy paper, but that is true of almost any fountain pen ink.So why only 4 stars? Two cartridges of ink come with each pen. I can see having a black cartridge with each as it's a common color for calligraphy. However, instead of having the second cartridge be red, they could have put a color matching the cap. This would have been easy for Pilot to do.

Pilot parallel is one of the best calligraphy pens i've bought. They glide smoothly in every direction and the nibs do not dry out quickly. That you can not use standard converters is the only drawback in my book.

I love the portability and ease of use these pens afford me. I am a calligraphy enthusiast. I also have the regular nibs, but the dipping in ink makes it tedious and challenging to keep all that stuff when I move about These parallel pens are good for novices and for the hassle free practice they make possible..

Very nice pen. These pens function brilliantly, and if they don't, it is the fault of the user. The ink flows pretty consistently, the lines are very sharp, and it is very easy to clean and switch the ink inside. The pen doesn't hold as much ink, but that's to be expected for the price; it holds an average amount of ink but they run out pretty fast since the nibs cover more surface.

Love these pens and love the different colour coded caps too. Writes beautifully. Only concern if unused for a while if the tip will clog up & render it unusable.
