I was looking for an inexpensive set of paddles to replace some other trash I ordered here on Amazon. I came across these and thought I'd give them a shot.I was very surprised at the quality when I opened them. They are packaged very well to avoid damage during transport and the rubber is soft and tacky - almost more so than my personal paddle that I paid a lot more for. The handle is very smooth and is flared for a comfortable, secure grip.We'll see how well they hold up (that was the problem with the last set - they literally disintegrated) but so far I am very pleased with these paddles.

These were a great price, the quality is very good. I took off one star because I don’t like the slick yet sticky texture of the paddles - seems like they’ll collect dirt easily. But otherwise they’re great!

I’m very pleased with the quality of this table tennis paddle set. They’re well balanced and sturdy. I might add, they’re also not too heavy. Which can be a problem for some players. Give them a try….you’ll like them.ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

These paddles came with a film over a paddle. The red side easily lifted off, but the black side stuck to the paddle ripping more than what it should have and making the black side look horrendous.I definitely do not recommend

Ordered one since I wish to get back into ping pong. I've held and played with a variety of paddles, including a more expensive one. I'm just a beginner. This set came with 1 paddle and 4 balls.The construction and quality seem pretty good for the price, and the balls are just fine. The paddle arrives well-packed in shrinkwrap, all around the paddle to protect it. The design is nice, on the handles, and around the edges of the paddle. I'm not sure if it's standard length from the padded portion of the paddle end to end, as it seems a tad short, but I'm just a beginner so I can't say for sure).The sides are well padded with multiple layers. One side of paddle uses black colored pad and the other side uses red color. The inner padding is blue.It has a good weight, not too heavy (which can lead to fatigue), not too light that it feels cheap.Overall, I'd order again and recommend to others looking for a good starter or back-up paddle. At this price point, for what you get, I would rate it a 4.5-5.0.

I selected the 4-paddle set (currently listed for $40) for my son, who plays table tennis with his classmates every day. He wanted a set he could donate to his school for everyone's use, since their paddles had become worn & broken. This is his summary of their opinions:"The ping pong paddles are very high quality and grippy. They are sticky and made well for someone who's a beginner. The wood feels very well polished with no sharp edges or splinters. The balls aren't the best, they had a powder on the outside that's stuck to the ping pong paddle. But, if you rinse them off with water they seem to work well. "My initial perspectives align with my son's and his friends; while none of us are table tennis pros, this seems like a really nice kit. All four paddles are the "sandwich" rubber style (the smooth, flat contact surface). My sons and I--as casual players--greatly prefer this style to the "pimpled" rubber style that we usually see & associated with cheaper paddles. I also appreciated the packaging care, as the rubber surface grip was wrapped to guard against incidental damage or wear. All around, the paddles all look & feel like a quality paddle for casual use. I say casual use because if you're a pro, you already know individual paddles can cost twice as much as this entire set.The storage bag is reasonably well designed, with dedicated storage compartments. It appears to be of acceptable quality & construction. I wouldn't see it as necessary for all use-cases, but for something readily transported, used, put away, etc.---as in my son's school use case---it's especially convenient.At $40, this is a good price for this product. Target sells a 2-pack for about $22, a comparable price except it's for the less-desirable "pimpled" rubber style. Amazon has other comparable sets for $30-40, most of the cheaper ones with some "pimpled" style paddles and/or without a carrying case. I'd look around for a good deal if I were you, but I wouldn't feel cheated paying $40 for this.

Paddle arrived packaged with several ping pong balls. The paddle was wrapped in clear plastic and had an additional clear plastic coating attached with an adhesive to the rubber face of each side. It was somewhat difficult to peel the plastic off, but it revealed a sticky rubber… stickier than any ping pong paddle I had ever used. Now this is advertised as a feature to help novice players as it helps put spin and control on the ball. Yes – it definitely worked as advertised. That being said, I wonder if this is a legal paddle? I’m sure there must be some regulations to read up on but I wouldn’t imagine the adhesive would be regulation. I also think that the rubber will attract a lot of dirt given how sticky the rubber is.I think this is a good product – it does what it advertises. I’m not sure I would be happy playing against a friend who didn’t have this… it might just be unfair.
