I did a complete renovation of my current 5 Gal Betta tank and I thought this piece was a very cute focal point, as well as a great hiding hole for my fish. It came in one piece and exactly as pictured, although the edges around the openings were sharp. (Definitely would’ve torn my Bettas fins) I sanded them down for about 15 minutes, and that was enough. The inside itself is very smooth.I did read some reviews about falling moss, an while I was handling it to sand some bits did come off. It’s been rinsed and in the water for several hours and I have yet to see residue, so it isn’t anything to worry about. Definitely worth the price! Thank you so much.

It's surprisingly large but works great as a hide for the ghost and nano shrimp in our axolotl's tank. Another commenter mentioned that the moss on theirs flaked off and made a mess - we didn't have an issue with it at all and love how soft it is. We wash all of our aquarium decor in de-chlorinated water and give it a little scrub with a toothbrush before placing our items so maybe try that just to be safe.

I bought this for extra hidey holes for my smaller cichlids. It isn't useful for the bigger guys but the 2" or less sized fish fit perfectly in it. We have 2 that we elevated on rocks so they have condo's. We are enjoying this product very much

They are stacked nicely and overall my fish like them but the fake grass was falling off from day 1. This is concerning because my algae eater and fish have been picking at it.
