I ordered 2 different backdrop stands. By far this was the sturdiest of the two and worked with no sagging in the middle and totally stayed in place while I was building this flower wall for my daughter's wedding. The other one was terrible and I returned it. I saw prior to ordering a 4 star review that stated "This backdrop stand is just ridiculously heavy. It is heavy duty, but for what it’s used for it is absolutely not necessary.. I can’t even move it by myself" THIS IS ABSOLUTLY NOT the case. Yes, it's heavy as it should be considering it's weighted but NOT ridiculously heavy!! GREAT PRODUCT!! Worth the money!! The picture isn't great because it's in my dining room but this was just trail run of how I was planning to setup the floor wall at my daughter wedding reception. Ill take and add a better picture after the wedding.

FAST delivery just as promised. EASY set up! VERY sturdy! This is clearly a well built frame - you’d have to do chin-ups on it to break it! Very strong and sturdy! Highly recommend.

Stuffy, and easy to assemble. Did not have to worry about the stand bending or moving due to the weight of the backdrop. Definitely worth the money!

I already have the other kind of back drop set that uses lighting stands with tripod legs on each end. The legs get in the way and reduce how much of the width of the back drop you can use in photos or videos. So, I wanted to try this set with flat bases.Some people complain about how the cross bar hooks in to the slots at the top of the upright poles rather than screwing in, but this is how commercial pipe and drape works, and it is much easier to set up because you don't have to lift the cross beam over the top of the stands, instead you can angle it in from lower, then walk over to the other side and hook the other side in. So I see this as a plus, but I've also set up a heck of a lot of commercial pipe and drape.The folding flat bases are heavy, which makes the whole kit much heavier than my lighting stand based backdrop stands. However, the bases aren't quite as wide or as heavy as the commercial versions, and the hinge makes them a bit less stable. So you should use sand bags on each of the bases for better stability, and don't use this outdoors where a breeze or wind may be an issue.

Needed a new backdrop stand that is heavy duty & hooks into the side poles rather than just sets into the grooves. Found this! It also extends which is wonderful, I’ve purchased from other companies and they don’t expand throughout the entire stand only at certain lengths. This was a solid find, I’ll be ordering more!

In general, the pipes seem solid. There is no bending of the horizontal bar as well. I do not like that there is no solid connection to the base. It looks like there a version 2 (from one of the images) which may solve this problem. I am not pleased with the whole structure moving and tilting.

Easy to assemble and very sturdy. Easy to adjust height and width as well.
