Solid thickness, could be a bit thicker though if they offered that I would have bought it. The install was easy, just measured and cut it with scissors. The inside diameter was right on. It has lasted so far and seems to work well. Would buy again. I would definitely buy for insulating my pipes. This material is tough and soft enough to cushion the 3/4 metal ladder rungs.

This pipe insulation was easy to install and a perfect fit for covering the pipes we needed to cover! The pipes stayed protected during the cold low teens and 20s temperatures we had this week!

Despite being advertised as heat resistant, it melted on an indoor (inside an apartment bedroom) heat pipe just after a few weeks. I just hope that it wasn't toxic. Avoid for insulating warm/hot pipes!

Look at the photo. Looks like you’re getting 5 lengths of foam insulation, but you only get 1 for the $9. Got it for half the price at Lowe’s.

Very nice and flexible. They are however, about 50% as thick as the ones you can buy at your local big box home improvement store.
