We slit it lengthwise so it would be easier to wrap on the pipes, and then used duct tap to seal the seam back up. Working well so far. We could not find a similar product anywhere in hardware stores, L, HD, etc.

I liked the quality of the tubing. I used it to enclose11/2" exterior PVC pipe.Dislike: there's no seam cut in the tubing, so cutting a seam in the tubing required extra time and effort.

These were perfectly for our trampoline springs. Very high quality and they cut easily. They have held up very well in the rain and seem to dry out very quickly. They're super soft for people to step on or land on when jumping. I would imagine they would be high quality around pipes if they are used for insulation as well.

I'm using these for a different application than pipe insulation, but I noticed the build quality of this tubing is top-notch.

I thought these were the foam you see for pipes thats like pool noodles, but its not. This is a long sleeve of neoprene like a thick diving suit, no slit in the middle to wrap around the pipe. Just a grippy sleeve, thats flat like a shirt sleeve. Dont know how Ill get it on the pipe, I guess a box cutter and gorilla tape? Roll it inside out (its too thick to roll back on itself like when you roll peel your socks off) Im sure its a great insulator, but disapointed. And, its heavy for its purpose.

The fact it was not split, came as complete tube.
