I wasn't able to find pipe insulation tubing with 1/4 ID locally to wrap a small 1/4" water copper pipe. I did have to slice it open as the pipe was already installed. At first I tried using a utility knife, but the cut was actually a lot easier and cleaner using just regular scissors. Because i sliced it open, I ended up wrapping it with foil tape so the insulation doesn't end up falling off. Anyway, the quality of foam seems good, just what I expected.

It would have been better if it were already cut and have a adhesive on it, had to purchase additional tape to close it properly.

I have struggled every year with my airlines freezing for my small pond. This was the answer! My only issue was trying to string the long airline thru the small hole, so I did have to slice it open to get it thru. But it closed back snug around the line. A cheap fix and I’m happy!
