The sound of the Evah Pirazzi is warm and resonant. I have tried nearly every violin string, and these absolutely are the best for my violin. I would prefer for them to stretch out a little quicker than they do after installing but they still sound wonderful.

I've tried the rest- for me, these are the best. I'll generally stick with a different "E"- but I'm picky like that.

Excellent fine strings for advanced violinists. I use these strings on a Guarneri violin which has a darker, robust and more sonorous sound than a Stradivari…the Evah pirazzi strings bring out the violin’s quality and use them for professional performances. Excellent strings and they are authentic

These are great strings. I had the same set on my violin, just needed to replace them. I plan on sticking with this brand. My old set came with the gold É string, but the gold coating eventually wore off from use, so this set is perfect. It has the regular É string. I need a new violin, but in the meantime putting these strings on greatly improved the sound quality of my current one.

Worth the higher cost. For some reason my hand chemistry causes the A and D to unravel sometimes, especially in warmer months. The A string is a bit wider than other A's so be sure to check your nut groove before using. Also, the A string has a flaw where it tends to unravel at the nut easily. Be sure to lubricate your nut grooves with some pencil lead. But even with these problems, the sound is so nice that they are worth the higher cost and potential issues.

I have used this brand for over 3 years but found the quality is going down the hill. The new A string started to unravel when I put it on. The one before this one started to unravel after 4 months. I checked my old one that I saved as back up its still ok without damage. I think I will change the brand going forward.
