I purchased this amp by recommendation from a professional installer/retail outlet. Of course I purchased the unit from amazon. He told me amazon was selling this amp BELLOW his cost. I currently have three amps in my car system. This one was for my 6x9 polk audios. I use the built-in high pass crossover set at about 100-110 hertz. About 99% of the amps out there use peak ratings instead of RMS which is what they use on all home equipment. Typically, regardless of manufacturer. they are about 1/3 or in some cases 1/5th the peak rating in actual rms. By comparison, Planet audio rates their amps at about 85% or higher in rms. For example, this amp is 1200 peak/600 watts peak per channel x two (stereo). But the rms is 485 watts x two. I have a PYLE 1000 peak/500 watt peak per channel x two & the rms is a pitiful 145 watts rms. Now figure that one out for yourself...do you want 485 watts rms per channel or 145? They are also smaller in size, cleaner in thd (.01), better in signal to noise ratio (110). All this stuff amounts to an amplifier that is nearly double or better in quality than any amp out there at nearly double the price. An added feature is a control knob you can mount anywhere in reach to turn the bass up or down ten decibels. Whats neat is that it uses a standard telephone cable that is supplied & if something were ever to happen to your original wire, any telephone cable would replace it. To put it bluntly, you would be a complete moron to buy any other brand of amp with very, very few exceptions (American Bass for example is better but BOY are you gonna pay more).

THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GOOD AND THEY SPEAK ENGLISH UNLIKE OTHER COMPANYS CUSTOMER SERVICE...IT HAS ALL THE EXTRAS OF A MORE EXPENSIVE AMP, INCLUDING A BASS BOOST REMOTE THAT WASNT EVEN IN THE DESCRIPTION SO THATS AN ADDED BONUS...RMS WATTAGE IS ALL THAT MATTERS AND THIS THING DOES PUT OUT NICE CLEAN POWER UNLIKE OTHER CHEAP AMPS THAT SAY 2000 WATTS BUT ARE ONLY 75RMS LIKE PYLE,LEGACY,BOSS,LANZAR AND ALL THE OTHER ONES FOR LESS THAN $100..EVEN KENWOOD,PUNCH, AND ALPINE DOESNT PUT OUT THIS KIND OF POWER UNLESS YOU PAY ALOT MORE...I WOULD COMPARE IT TO A KENWOOD OR ALPINE AMP...YOU GET THE QUALITY AND DOUBLE THE POWER (700rms) or (350x2)...THIS THING IS VERY IMPRESIVE IN MY GRAND CHEROKEE....BUT OF COURSE IT ALSO HAS TO DO WITH WHAT SUBS YOUR RUNNING..SO BUY GOOD SPEAKERS...AT LEAST 700-1000WATTS EACH OR YOU WILL BLOW THEM...THE POINT IS THIS AMP IS WORTH EVERY BIT OF THE $75 I PAID FOR IT PLUS MORE...IF YOUR ON A BUDGET AND WANT GOOD CLEAN POWER AND NICE FEATURES BUY THIS PRODUCT.................................................................(UPDATE)4/20/2011...WELL IVE HAD THIS AMP 4mo. Had it installed professionally today to two MTX subs with a 4 gauge wiring kit. My bass slumps so hard I can no longer use my rear view mirror while driving. Adjustment knob for installation in the front seat (comes with the amp) makes for easy adjustment, depending on if I really want to wake up anyone within a five mile radius or if I want to continue to listen to clean bass at a low enough setting while driving next to a cop (which actually happened a little while after I left the shop). Front cab adjustment is just as easy as turning up or down your radio, allowing you to keep the volume high but adjust the bass level. I absolutely love this setup, the amp is working at 65% capacity, otherwise if I turned it up any more I would blow my speakers. So the front cab adjustment knob on max power is at 65% and turning it down to minimum power brings it to around 58%. If you like to listen to different genres of music the adjustment makes all the difference, just have to make sure you have it set up right according to your subs and have it well grounded. No complaints, sounds cleaner than anything I've heard. Would recommend to ANYONE, especially because this is cheaper than better known amps (that have half the watt output as this one) and it sounds amazing! Get it! Could not be happier!

I have this amp in my '84 Corvette pushing a pair of Sony xPlod 1100w tens. The subs are wired in parallel and put into the bridged output so I'm running the amp at 2 ohms. I agree the watt rating is a little optimistic, but the price proved to be worth it. It's held up running at 2 ohms bridged and actually pushes the speakers to talk louder than the exhaust on the car. I really liked the input/output covers since they really cleaned up the look of the amp since it sits in the middle of my baggage compartment. I have the amp sitting on 1/2" spacers to give a little airspace to keep the amp cool even though it has never gotten warm with my abuse to it. The remote bass boost knob isn't worth a flip (no noticeable difference whatsoever).Bottom line- Decent little amp... Don't expect too much out of it...

Well well well I would have never thought that this amp (2000watt) would stand up to the challenge. For the very little money you spend and a 2000watt amp, this thing differently moves power to my subs. When I pulled up to the house my wife said that she could she the juice in her cup ripple when she was sitting in the deck, and for the sub control I love it, works perfect. So for the cheap price compared to other bands with you pay twice or triple has much its worth it for me. I honestly wasn't expecting much but so far I was wrong.
