I bought the Boss PT1000 Phantom Amp specifically to drive 2 Boss NX694 6x9's. It's a seriously wicked cool combo ! Crystal clear perfection. Great bass. Great value for any price. This is a quality built amp and the back light looks awesome. I highly recommend this amp.UPDATE : Newer truck-new system. Wanted to add some bass to my RV, bought a nice Skar audio 10" speaker with dual 4ohm voice coils, so I did some searching and found this amp, bought a refurb unit, and so far all I can say is , very nice! this thing has lots of power and drives a single 10 with dual coils well! I have to keep the bass level knob at about 20% or I start to rattle things! so , yea it does it's job well for me!! need to find a couple more for my truck, and update it! LOL

First off this is one of the best Amps for the money,I’m running this on 2 12s and they hit hard. There is always gonna b better sounding amps and have more volume control but this is less that $90The shocking part is I’ve been running this amp for 3 years and I’ve had no problems. It overheated once but that was when it was in the middle of summer and it was over 100 outside. Other that that just make sure I have it in a well ventilated space. WELL WORTH THE MONEY

About twenty years ago, for about the same price, I purchased an Performance Teknique ICBM 776. It was made of metal. I mounted it on my woofer box. While it didn’t shake the neighborhood foundations-It didn’t vibrate.I mounted this amp on my woofer box, and while I enjoy the look of it at night, I don’t enjoy the plastic housing that vibrates louder as I increase the volume.I like mounting the amps on the box. It enables me to remove the box/amp should I need to use the bed in order to haul things. (I just insulate the leads, after disconnecting the connectors, so they don’t short out while they are exposed.)ATTENTION: don’t make the same mistake that I made.I purchased a Pyle Subwoofer, and then a BOSS subwoofer- since I wasn’t satisfied with the frequency response. I tried calling BOSS tech support- but they couldn’t answer my simple question regarding the 3 position Low Full High switch. I wanted to know what the frequency ranges were in each position.Well, what I found is that my dissatisfaction with the sound production wasn’t due to the BOSS amp- it was with the narrow frequency response of the sub woofers.I purchased a “full range†speaker with a freq response range of 53hz -10khz, and now with the amp switch in the FULL position, as well as, some fine tuning using the amps pots- I can hear bass guitars, cymbals, lead guitars, singing, and talk radio- all amplified- via my 12†speaker, and it’s enclosure.

It fits under the seat of my 2014 Kia Soul. I wanted some extra bass, so you take the high level input to the rear subwoofer line level out. Works great with a 150 W subwoofer in the back. II mean its a cheap amp, we all know that advertised watts are a non-metric. And there was no chance that this does 1000 watts with 0% total harmonic distortion, and there is no chance they would even mention the spec in a reliable way. The whole industry does this, so don't fret when you don't get 1000 watts.

It’s sounds ok, but gets hot too fast. I have replaced with a similarly powered option within a closed price range and it has blown this amp out of the water.

Viene bien empaquetado con su instructivo robusto, pesado y bonito diseño con una potencia barbara no tengo experiencia en en amplificadores esta es la primera vez que compro uno, no para auto más bien para un prollecto en casa, para mi experiencia tiene mucha potencia, controles de buen material el manual te explica a detalles para que no lo descompongas
