Fits the blue 55 gallon drums fine thread, just put on some teflon tape! Works! I will update some photos. This tap is great, I use it to water my animals tanks. Empties FAST! In a jiffy. I’m using a downspout to direct the water, this spout has a 2 1/4” od so hard to find a fitting. So using the downspout it works fine. It takes no time to empty. I love it!

It's only a fine thread. Is this made in coarse thread for other type barrels that only have coarse?Great design

I'm not sure how the user is expected to install this spigot. Unless there was a shipping error, all I received is the threaded spigot. So now I need to buy in interior plastic nut and gasket separately? Seriously??Cannot be installed.
