While these do seem to be easy to snap at the thinner levels, where it is thicker, you will still need to score deeply with a cutter or razer to snap. In any case, they are good quality and have grip grooves on one side that help prevent the slims from retracting.

In the picture that shows the dimensions, it shows that the big end is .47†thick (i needed a half inch spacer for a project). So i figured these would we just about perfect. However, they are actually 5/16th’s thick, almost half of the thickness of what they’re said to be in the picture. So now instead of using exactly 1 whenever i need a half inch spacer, now i have to use 2 and then cut the extra off and now i need twice as many as what i ordered originally (3 packs)I will try to remember to post a picture when i get home

These are definitely decent shims, easily on par with what you might get at a hardware store - nothing about them seems cheap or junky. I've got one under a corner of my desk, and I would have no reservations using them for things like leveling furniture, bookshelves, or even an appliance. They have little serrations on one side for added grip, and you could cut them down to size if need be with a utility knife or wood chisel.Overall good. I likely would get these again if I need more of them.
