I bought this as a gift for my 11yo and it was so simple to put together he did it by himself. It has withstood multiple crashes and collisions with trees and older brothers. He’s had lots of fun with it and it is holding up to the abuse just fine. The wings are a little nicked up but it still flys great!

This is a fun kit. It's easy to put together and flies fairly well. You do need a bit of a sloping hillside for a good flight. It's best to do this at a grassy park as the landing gear bumps loose when it lands; however, the gear doesn't break. It's a bit on the heavy side so you really have to wind the rubber band. This leads to high torque from the propeller and that causes it to pull to the right. Can't really complain, that's just physics. I bought it for my 2-1/2 year old daughter. It's a little too difficult for her to fly it, but she gets a real kick out of making me fly it for her. She also digs the stand so I keep it displayed in her room.

Really surprised the reviews aren’t worse. The plane hardly flies. Putting it together was the best part. Seeing the disappointment on my kid’s face was the worst part.

It is incredibly durable, but so heavy it only flies for 10ft, usually at an incline, stalls and nose dices. After 2 full winds the propeller stops winding the rubber band and skips. Just buy a cheap balsa wood version. You'll get much more enjoyment.

Really great and it flies better than a paper airplane due to its design. Only thing is the rubber band part doesn’t help it and was kind of useless. Still fun to throw around!

Nice light plane, you need some skills to make it fly. I bought it for my 9 years old son, he loves it !

I have flown a lot of rubber powered planes and I have to say this thing is very impressive . Just follow the instructions carefully and you will have a wonderful flying bi plane .
