Your cart is empty.A true "electronics production long nose plier" is what we had in mind when we designed the 485. Engineers and production managers told us traditional forged designs were too bulky and lacked the sensitive feel required for precision electronic assembly. Our 485 performs where the competition failed. 485 features a thin profile for access in high density areas.

Fits my hand well, was very easy to use in comparison with other longer nose jewelry pliers. The small nose made it easier to work with thin wire and beads. They seem to be quality made. Would definitely recommend these to others.

There was many pliers we looked at. We went with these and are happy we did! The grip is sturdy and doesn't slip. They get the job done when we use them in various projects. They are comfortable when using. Perfect size too. Very pleased.

I love these pliers and use them for chainmaille. With heavy thick rings however, I would use a set of pliers from the toolbox in the garage. I usually work with 16-18 gauge and they are perfect. I've had them for a couple of months now. The first pair of pliers I had from a different company fell apart when one of the springs broke, so I tossed them. These are holding up very well, so I will probably order another pair or two. The grip is also comfortable, so that I can work for a long time on a project! I do recommend these highly!

I do chainmail jewelry so I spend a lot of time opening and closing rings of all sizes (all in tempered aluminum). I bought these along with the Xuron 450BN Bent Nose Pliers to add to my pliers. These were to be an addition to my flatnose, the smallest of the ones I have, and I've found myself using them most often. They're narrow enough to be useful with small rings, but wide enough to handle even bigger rings. Good and durable, well made and definitely worth the price.I did file the jaws smoother as aluminum is easy to mar up, but I doubt most other metals would even notice the small 'edge' that was on the jaws of these. This is something to be aware of, though. Didn't take me long at all to smooth them out by hand. The handle is actually very comfortable. I was expecting to have to do some adjustments to it, but I've found it fits nicely into my hands, better than any other pliers I've had. The material is a very solid plasticy-rubber with a quite nice 'velvety' feel to it. I have long hands for a female and they don't extend past my hands but aren't too small either. Even my husband said the fit is nice (and his hands are a bit bigger than mine). These are also very well oiled (had to clean some off) which is better than most pliers I've tried (got a few other pairs before getting these ones and one was so stiff it took quite a bit of dousing with 3in1 to get them moving smoothly), and the jaws open quite wide as well if it's something that's important to you.Can definitely recommend these if you're looking for flat nose pliers that are more narrow than most on the market. The price is fantastic and they're made in the USA if you're looking for that kind of thing as well.Update: So, I've been using these for quite a while now and bought a second pair, and I wouldn't have any other pliers. Love the width of the ends, one jaw is a little thinner the other so that's actually helpful. I have, however, downgraded them to 4 stars because of the handles. Still excellent in my hands, still fit better than anything else I've tried, still comfortable. However, the handles are also meant to be able to be removed so the spring can be replaced. Unfortunately, they also move and slide down as I'm working with them sometimes. Wish there was a way to lock them in place (I'm looking into it) and still be able to remove them to change that spring should I want to. Haven't had a problem with the spring though, so don't know that I'll ever need to replace it... likely just as cheap to buy a new pair. Also, I have had the spring "slip", but adding a little bit of graphite lubricate (3-in-1 works well, too) fixes the issue, so I'm not taking away anything for that, just adding the info if anyone else has had problems with it.

I tried another brand but it didn't do it for me. I initially got a Xuron cutter and I immediately liked the way it feels in my hand, the material of the handles, the type of spring, the fact that the metal part is black and it won't bother my eyes when I use them. So I got about 7-8 pliers from Xuron, the Flat Nose 485FN included. They are so easy to work with, I like them a lot, and I find it makes everything easier. I find the price to be great, you get value for not as much money as you pay for other top brands.

These are my first xuron pliers but I saw another wire wrapper using them and loved how the pliers are thin and flat. My other flat nose are kind of chunky and hard to get into some wraps and do the necessary squeeze to set the wrap. These fit well in my hand and seem to move with the grace the other pliers were not able to help me achieve.

I do chainmail, so I open and close rings constantly. I got these as a temporary solution while I could save up for a more pricey set, but after a month of use, I decided to order a second set of these instead. They have made it so much easier on my hands and wrists. Easy to grip and hold closed, and the hinge is really well oiled. I do recommend filing the edges smooth if you work with aluminum or enameled copper. I haven't found a better product. I thought they would be too narrow for bigger rings, but they did well on 10mm rings!

I am replacing gradually my old tools with Xuron . I love their pliers and snips . So lovely to use . They make my other tools look rather clumsy. I need more 🤣
