I had to stretch the springs and manipulate the metal but they work well for 4 inch plates.

The measurements listed for this item are wrong. I ordered this for a 4 inch plate. As is stated these hangers work for maximum plate size of 3 inches. However I was confused because the listed measurements are 3.5 inches long and 2.5 inches wide. This is incorrect. That is the size of the cardboard the hanger comes on. Actual size of the hanger is 2.25 inches in length and 1 inch in width please update your listing. Otherwise it’s a fine plate hanger but the stated dimensions are misleading.

Small and almost unnoticeable (liked this) ends cover with caps to prevent scratching (liked this), really hard to put on plate without scratching gilded sides.
