This thing has some power. It is strong enough to completely tear a rubber boot apart. Another reviewer said there is no way to adjust pressure. But there is there is a flat head screw that allows you to lower the psi that the tool utilizes, so you don't rip the boot in half. Will stretch a silicone boot out around 10 inches in diameter.

It barely opened up enough at 160 psi to get the boot on. This was used on a small cv axle for a side by side, not sure if it will work on a truck cv axle though. I had to put a 1/8 pipe plug where the little needle is on the side to keep the air from leaking out

I don’t recommend to buy this product it’s like put your money on the trash can it’s doesn’t work good don’t open right with the strongest they need I don’t recommend it to buy very bad item very bad quality and Amazon doesn’t want to return my money they told me to keep it like that they don’t care about the costumers

Works great. Just make sure you have more than 125psi of air pressure.
