The PNOZ X2 Standalone Safety Relay is an innovative device with 1 or 2 channel wiring with or without detection of short circuits, LED indications, and 2 N/O outputs and automatic and manual restart. The LED indicator shows channel status from 1 to 2 and monitors your supply voltage.
Operating modes include single channel, automatic reset, dual channel, manual reset and detection of shorts across contacts. Single channel operation is used more beneficially with smaller machines where you need to use a dedicated logic device that only has a limited function for cut off in an emergency. Dual allows you to take control of more safety circuits and control a greater amount of control zones at any given time.
The safety function remains effective in the case of a component failure. The relay contacts meet the requirements for safe separation through increased insulation. The correct opening and closing of your safety function relays is tested automatically in each of the on/off cycles.
Applications for the PNOZ safety module include monitoring safety gates, instantaneous Emergency Stop monitoring, Limit switch monitoring.
