I'll begin my review by saying that, as all POC products, this armor is fantastic, however there are a couple things that need to be pointed out.I bought this model particularly due to the shoulder protection without the added long sleeve protection given that I live in south america and racing can get particularly hot here so lightness in the design was a must for me.After wearing it for the first time I noticed that the shoulder pads feel somewhat annoying and strangely enough they are not removable like the chest and back plates are since they dont have an open sleeve. This is probably the worst design flaw in the entire design since they remove the choice of not wearing them and not having to switch to another model to ride without them.Overall after riding with the armor I must say it feels like a great piece of kit to have, especially if you are considering riding DH or Enduro.Some extra considerations to be had: the "shirt" design can be annoying to wear given that its considerably tight. Should you not want the shoulder protection I would recommend considering the "VPD System Torso" design which is far simpler and only lacks the shoulder protectionAdditionally for POC to consider: I've noticed that besided any old VPD 2.0 armor design all of your new armor designs usually dont reach the "Level 2" security protection mentioned in previous 2.0 models. I think you should consider designing something simpler like the before mentioned VPD System Torso or the VPD air + tee that incorporates the VPD 2.0 withouth a full sleeved design.

This is a legit prduct. Pricey as with all POC gear but its solid. Havent fallen since purchase...oh weel.I live in the SW so i have yet to wear ot on 100° + days but im sure I'll survive... it does NOT seem very breathable.Edit: not good for riding at 100F in desert.. But that's my fault. A few DH runs later and this is worth every penny. Just not for anything else other than gravity rides.

I have the VPD Spine 2.0 jacket, which I like. Tried this since I wanted something cooler. The 'tee' is completely redundant to the 2.0 jacket. Physically comparing both side by side: the material (not the pads) is identical on both. Zero difference. The tee's shoulder pads are not as nicely shaped as the 2.0, with a weird hump over the shoulder. The chest pad is one-piece here vs. three thinner layers on the 2.0. The latter is oddly much more flexible than what you get here. This tee does not come with the cummerbund thing that the 2.0 jacket does. Both have a superb closure system with the zipper. Fit in the L/XL size for me is great: 5'11", 185lbs, 43.5" chest. Shoulder pads are not removable here, back and chest panels are. VPD 2.0 jacket is the same. I do prefer the back panel here, which is three independent layers vs one giant VPD board on the 2.0. The only conceivable way this is cooler than the 2.0 is the slightly larger perforations in the back panel. That's it. And the tech features listed say it's level 1 protection, but the actual jacket says it's level 2 (back only). Which brings me to my final point:POC: your technical descriptions suck real bad. For example, which is it? Level 1 or 2? Your write-up for this 'tee' says it has silicone below the elbows to keep the sleeves in place, and refers to sleeve padding. This product obviously has neither BECAUSE IT IS A TEE. If you're going to ask a lot of money for your products, don't make people guess which features they actually have.

As always, POC is a fantastic brand when looking for protective gear. Unfortunately, the Medium size is looser than I hoped and the padding seems rather bulky for my thinner frame. I do like that shirt has a zipper to make it easier to put on but I can also slip it on like a regular T-shirt since it is a loose fit.

Der Brustpanzer sitzt super und fühlt sich sehr gut an… einziger kleiner Nachteil ist, dass man die Schulterprotektoren nicht herausnehmen kann… wieso eigentlich nicht??? Aber ansonsten wirklich top. Ehr etwas für den Bikepark als für die kleine Tour…

prodotto poco funzionale in quanto le parti rigide non si smontano tutte e la pulizia non è facile.dopo 4 mesi di utilizzo nonostante il lavaggio a fondo rimane puzzolente , non si riesce ha togliere il cattivo odore.Prodotto di qualita' pessima.non posso piu' renderlo per la scadenza di tempo ,ma mi raccomando non acquistate questo prodotto

Bin 179cm groß und nicht sonderlich breit gebaut oder muskulös - habe deshalb Größe M gewählt.Sitzt perfekt und nichts wackelt!Die Weste selbst ist schön luftig, das war mit wichtig. Außerdem lassen sich bis auf die Schultern alle Teile rausnehmen, sodass man auch mit weniger Schutz unterwegs sein kann.
