This jig works great for what I need it for so far. I know there are higher grade jigs out there. I don't use them a ton so they are great for me for the price!

This jig worked great for a cheap option where you would not need any more expensive one. Probably won’t last as long as some of the more expensive ones, but if you need one for several jobs, this will do the trick. Probably will need more screws than it comes in the kit

I bought this for my startup furniture company, went through all the options and for the price tag, without the huge “name brands†this one I had high hopes for, and man it exceeded what I could even hope for, the clamp is stronger than I expected, the bit is SOLID high quality, and the unit? I guess we could call it is super easy to use, place and maneuver.. I got an email shortly after from the company asking if I was satisfied and I have no doubt that if I wasn’t they would’ve made it right in anyway possible… could not recommend this anymore than I do!

The clamp doesn’t tighten both sides evenly, so I have to loosen each side to make sure it doesn’t slip while drilling. Additionally, the drill bit doesn’t cut well, requiring a lot of pressure to get it started.

Sleeves elongated and wore out almost immediately. Metal shavings combined with sawdust in every pocket. Hex key does not fit drill collar. 'Drill collar slips and ruins material. Two hundred dollars worth of maple plywood almost ruined. Job would have been much better with a name brand pocket hole jig. I'm going to get one tomorrow to finish this job without destroying it. Learned my lesson. The clamp worked but the rubber handles are not secure and slip. The screws and square bit were the only items that worked correctly.

I made my first pocket holes with this kit, and they turned out pretty well! Let's be clear... this is a cheap jig and the product quality reflects that. But it worked for my purposes and I think I may get the hang of it the more I use it. For my first project I made 16 pocket holes and didn't break anything, so I count that as a win!I practiced on a piece of scrap wood first and I'M GLAD I DID! I found the measuring tool was a little off so I was about to drill my holes too deep, but I've never used a pocket jig before so maybe it was user error. The instructions aren't very clear so I watched several videos first, which was helpful. After I made my first holes, there were visible shavings from both the drill bit and the orange jig, but nothing broke and it was working just fine to continue. Again, not sure if this was user error or just the lower quality kit. Ultimately, 20 bucks is significantly cheaper than buying a Kreg, so I'm happy!

This jig kit allows the pocket holes to be nicely drilled. However, you will immediately see that the metal and plastic in the jig is being warn down as you create more pocket holes. I do not expect this to keep any accuracy beyond 40-50 holes drilled. Better to invest in a jig made of durable materials (hard metal).
