Perfect for the job. I’m glad that it was suggested as an add-on item. It definitely made the work easier.

This drill bit worked very well for my driveway locators. Went right through the dirt and whatever. I should have bought these a long time ago. Yes buy it and make life easier

strong, drills through frozen soil and ice with little effort. I do wish it was coated or had some kind of sealant on it. First trip using it to drill pilot holes for ice anchors and it started to rust before we got off the ice.

I purchased this bit to install driveway markers along my driveway. The length and diameter of the bit is perfect for the job. As some other reviews noted, the bit I received is not 100% straight, so there is a slight bend when drilling. This makes drilling slightly more challenging and gives a feel that the bit will break when meeting resistance. It held up for placing about 20 markers and ultimately did the job. It just probably would have been a little quicker if the bit was machined perfectly straight. All in all, not a bad tool for the price.
