I was skeptical of the quality at the price point, but I didn't need anything other than occasional use at this point so decided to give it a try. So far, I've used this about 10 times and it has worked flawlessly. Tight crimps, solid no-slip tensioning, all good.

This set is great for light duty banding. If you need to secure something "heavy", you should look into a Metal Banding Kit. This will work for desktop sized equipment and light duty shop use. It was very easy to use and held well for the lighter equipment we deal with , but we had to also buy a metal banding set for the heavier equipment. But still a great value for its use and abilities to secure items to a pallet or seal a cardboard box closed.

Never have i had to use these tools before, but I had a roof tent i needed to return to Amazon, and the box had been damaged in the rain. I wanted to ensure the box/tent stayed together and these tools did the trick. Now since I have returned the item, I no longer have any use for this. I doubt ill ever need to heavy-duty poly-strap a package again. But I have the tools now if I do

Whilst everything in this kit was/is very high quality, the actual strapping itself is almost too thick. It's difficult to get it in the tooling and it feels like it will give way due to the thickness of it.Still, you can easily buy thinner strapping on it's own so I am happy.
