Handle Design

HOW TO USE
1. Press the handle and place the belt under the pressure plate and the cutter shell;
2. Loosen the handle, slide the strap into the cutter slot and winch slot and tighten the strap;
3. Push the handle back and forth to fix the packing belt;
4. Until the packing belt is tightened and put on the buckle;
5. Seal the buckle with a sealer;
6. Press the handle to cut the packing strap and remove the tightener.

This is good product that does what it says. It is not intuitive to use. But the photos on the product page are helpful. Once I got the hang of it it was great.

Ok, the option of many colors is a bit hokey. I mean, this isn't a car or suit jacket. But aside from that, this is a heavy, well-built tensioner that really does the job. I box and ship a few large boxes each month, usually overseas, and given the abuse the boxes take, it's not uncommon for the seams to rip and the box arrive damaged or missing contents. Now, I use fiber packing tape as before but add several straps to ensure the box's integrity. I watched a minute long video on how to use it (just google "how to use packaging strap tensioner"), and away I went. Some have said the cutter isn't up to par but after tensioning and placing a buckle on the strap, the cutting feature has worked flawlessly. Happy with this purchase and would do it again.

For the price they are acceptable. The cast metal handle broke 1st time use, #2 has held up well so far though.

Was a little worried about the quality due to the price being so much less than similar tools sold by strapping and industrial suppliers. So far it has been working just fine with no signs of that changing.

It’s pretty sturdy. Basic but well made. Not for high volume use but better than expected for home use atheists price and I think it would be good enough for light to medium commercial use. If you were to use it in the 10-20 times a day range I think good enough. I used an integrated tensioner and sealer model when I worked for a firewood company in college that I would recommend for continuous use all day, but this works well for anything less intense.

I always enjoy giving good reviews two companies that get the product to you as soon as possible. This company did exactly that. Ordered late Friday evening on the 8th received Monday the 11th afternoon. Even though, it was expected to get to me on the Thursday the 15th. So my thanks to this company for looking to the customer first before their own convenience
