I like this product because it is easy to install and is modifiable if you need it to fit different types of windows for a better seal to keep weather and animals out. Not sure if the material will cloud up after years in the sun and weather. Will update if this happens after the first year or two.

I made the mistake of ordering this window well cover with the exact length. The good news was I did have an inch clearance on the width side and allowed me to install the clips a little bit farther out then the instructions show. Installation was easy, just mark the surface with a marker and use a drill (not included) to install the included clips with the included bolts. It's nice not to lose light from the window as happens with mesh or full metal designs. The trade off is this cover does bend if you apply medium pressure in the back center as there is nothing supporting that area. Simple fix is installing some sort of bracket. It should be enough to prevent pets and small kids from falling through, but don't let them use it as a trampoline.

I ordered the largest possible size and it turned out the window well is just a smudge too large. I’m still going to try to see if there’s something I can do to get it to fit better than presently.It’s very sturdy, well made and just what we need to keep our window well drains clear of leaves. It didn’t blow away in the extremely high winds we had recently.

This cover is expensive but worth the money. It's really hard to clean the window well and if we don't clean then heavy rain may flood it. This does the job of covering it nicely and the best part is this being clear, it won't block the sunlight from getting into the basement. It's heavy duty and seems sturdy. Installation was easy. The only problem, they provided only 4 clamps, 1 more clamp would have been perfect, so I used my own. It fits perfectly on top of my window well, as I followed the measurements. Seems like it will hold for long in the outdoor weather.

On intial inspection, this window well cover appears to be made from a good quality polycarbonate. The photo I posted is the cover with its protective platic still in place. It is actually clear and I will update my review, with install photos once the snow melts enough to get to the window it is being installed on.I am hoping this will solve a few problems with a window well that is a pain to get to, and is fairly deep, making it difficult to clean the weeds leaves and debris out of.

This is a nice window well cover, although a bit pricey it seems to be quality made. Installed easily and works to protect the area around my basement window.
