This little strainer works great in front of my marine A/C pump, easily flowing enough water for multiple air conditioners. Not expensive at all. It's probably great as long as you're running in relatively clear water since it doesn't have the same capacity to hold mud and gunk as a big and 15x more expensive bronze and glass one would. Other typical uses might be water intake for a marine toilet.
