I am a sleepwalker who lives alone. I figured this would help if I ever decide to try and stroll outside. The alarm is nice and loud if needed. I like being able to turn it down a tad.

We like that this is operated with a remote control. We have the remote control hanging on a suction cup hook next to the door making it easy to find and easy to disengage when the little nephews are running around the pool area on their visits.

I installed using the tape method for now because of vinyl windows to see how long the adhesive would hold. Only been one day and still in place. The sound was loud enough when tested which I could hear well upstairs.

This is a must have when you have a kid that knows how to unlock and open windows. This lets me know if he opens the windows. Great purchase.

This is a good alarm in that you won't miss it if the door is open. I am happy to know if my elderly mother who has Alzheimer's tries to leave her room while I am asleep, this will certainly wake me. I don't necessarily care that it is difficult to know how to set it with the remote without setting it off for example if I want to set it at night. I guess that is just a learning curve. I would recommend this. It is easy to install just a few minutes and it was ready to go.
