I scoured reviews for a reasonably priced pool pump replacement for my 1 1/2 HP pump that gave up the ghost after seven years of summer time use (four to six month a year for six to hour hours a day).This pump came ready to plumb and was easy to getconnected, very short power cable but overall great performance so far.24’ x 53 pool with skimmer.

This is the second Extreme Power pump for me. The first was disappointing and failed after 15 months. So, it was after much internal debate before I tried again. This is the same company, but a different model. This model however seems better, much better. It is quiet. Really. Both were reported to be quiet, this one actually IS quiet. Enough so that I have walked out to it a couple times to be sure it was actually running. The other was loud enough to not hide, whereas this one is impressively quiet. It cleared the pool in no time, circulating the water efficiently. Take close note to this model number as I am well pleased with it. My only hope is that it lasts longer than the last one at 15 months. Time will tell. Right now, I could not ask more from this.

Ordered it was broken when it arrived.. they sent another one . (Returns with label on packaging have been impossible where I live no outlet will take a package that heavy from here and ups won't come pick it up either) ran it with clean fresh sand right from the bag to the pump and still water turned green and won't stay clear . We shocked it twice now and we use the multi level clorine tabs in two balls and we have never had the issue with the pool in the 6 Years we have kept one with the water algi or otherwise using any other pump filter system until now . The entire season was waisted on trying to keep our pool clear enough to swim in and never got to use it one time b4 it was too chili at night to keep it warm enough to even want to swim in it now . And to top it off we have two of these damn things we don't want and have no way to send them back. I would like to know what if anything the company plans to do about this . I will keep post update on how it turns out . As for now . I absolutely would not buy another one they do not work.

Amazon was late on delivery. The driver claimed it was hard to find even though they deliver here almost every day. However the pump is running fine. Super easy to install. It is moving water and that is what matters

I bought this pool pump because my motor went out and decided to replace the whole pool pump since mine was old. I didn't want to spend too much money on a new one and after seeing this one got high ratings and the price was good I decided to go for it. To hook up the wiring was a little difficult since the screws are on the opposite end of where the wires come in and you need small hands to connect them since there is a metal bracket almost on top of the screws that you need to work with to connect the wires. After getting it all connected and running, it works great. Except to me the motor noise is loud, it's not quiet like the description says it is. Overall it's a good pool pump.

Easy to install and runs quiet. I hard-wired this so our pool automation could control it. Just switched the voltage, snipped the power cable, and joined the wires with plastic caps with plenty of room inside the motor end cap so fit it inside.

This pool pump replaced a Hayward 2hp.This pool pump is so quiet and efficient in comparison to the old Hayward for the price we were amazed at the pool pumps quality.
