I know this telescoping net is really for removing unwanted material from a swimming pool but is really, really great for netting small and medium Koi fish for inspection from a pond. The fish don't flee from the net, nor thrash about, because the dark colored netting material is soft and does not harm them.

We purchased this pool skimmer, not for our pool but for our Koi pond. It does a very good job at picking up the leaves and debris the landscaper blows into the pond. The handle/pole is a bit on the flimsy side. It does bow a bit and feels like it not hold. But it does. The bag is great with a fine mesh to also reduce some of the larger dust particles. Would buy again.

I need to use this net several times a day to maintain my koi pond, especially with the current cicada invasion. However, every single time I use it, either the joints on the handle come loose (so it collapses into itself), or the actual net head comes loose so it slides around. I am CONSTANTLY having to tighten it.The frame around the net is actually good, because the pond is lined (instead of preformed), so scraping the debris is a bit challenging and the thin frame helps with scooping, but the fact that I am having to constantly tighten it doesn't make it worth it.7/1/21 So, the return window closed on this thing 3 days ago, and today, as I was scooping out a few leaves, THE HANDLE BENT RIGHT IN TWO.Absolute garbage. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

The pole is not very sturdy and feels flimsy, but you get what you pay for, hopefully will last a season anyway.

This is an extension net, but after a few times, whatever mechanisms are inside each extension piece wear out. This will leave you with a net that will extend but will not lock in place. As a result, you’ll have an irritating net that rotates when you’re trying to scoop debris out of the water. The only redeeming quality about this net is the netting appears to be of decent quality.

Bought this for a fish rescue that didn't happen, bc I never was able to find the fish again, so I haven't used it in a pond yet. But I've carried it back and forth to the pond many times,, so can attest to the fact that it seems quite sturdy, comes with an extra net, and collapses in a way that makes it quick to reassemble, but takes very little space. The net frame is in 2 pieces, allowing it to collapse to half it's assembled size. Also, the handle is threaded andscrews diredctly to the net frame wthout the need for bolt, so no small parts to lose. I hink it's a good addition to my wildlife rescue kit.

The net was being used to clean debris from a pond and the neck kept twisting with the minimal resistance of the water. After a few uses, the fasteners that attach the net to the pile snapped completely and it is no longer useable.

Esto no es para limpieza profunda, es perfecta para sacar cosas que flotan de manera casual de la alberca, hojas, un juguete que se cayó, insectos.En lugar de estar jalando agua con una chancla usas esta red y se guarda muy fácil. Por el precio cumple, pero donde le hagas trabajo pesado se va a romper
