I have to say this is the easiest and most accurate strips I have used! So much easier to read than others I have used. Will be buying again.

We got a giant swim spa that requires a lot of attention (thanks M.P. Master Spa)! I’m testing it very often to make sure I can get the chems balanced properly. Much more to it than we expected. So these little strips are very handy and help you stay on top of all the different chems you need to add! Or you could spend more money on a pool caretaker I guess $$$ 🙄

We have been using the Frog brand test strips. Tried these and have a much clearer color definition than the Frogs. We don’t need the chlorine or bromine test but are very happy with these.

I have always used a liquid testing kit for my pool chemical levels -- the kind where you take a water sample and add different drops to find out chlorine, PH, total alkalinity, acid demand, etc. -- but thought I'd give these strips a try since it's so much simpler and quicker. The package arrived quickly and was in good shape, and the bottle containing the strips was well sealed. I followed the label's directions to see what the strips would say about my pool's water, and then compare it to the measurements from my liquid test kit and an electronic multi-tester that measures salt and PH. The results were very inconclusive. The chlorine level was the only measure in complete agreement with the liquid test kit's results. The salt measure was significantly off from the multi-tester (and chlorine generator) levels. The PH was lower than the liquid test kit, which was lower than the multi-tester -- so I don't know which level to believe, although the liquid test is the one I trust most since I've used it for years. Even if it's a little off, I at least know it's consistent with what I've been relying on for a long time.So I'm not sure what to think of these. It could be that because the pool is full of cold water due to the season, it affects the test strips, and they'll get better in the summer. I'll most likely use them this winter to just do quick monitoring of the chlorine, since it was consistent with my other testing methods, but I'll continue to use the liquid tests for the other measurements.
