I've had original Walkman (Sony brand) cassette players, as well as other brands back in the day. Ok, so I'm old, but being old and having like a handful of these, I can tell you what to and what not to expect. Do NOT expect great quality sound through the speaker. These were meant to be MOBILE... that is, you use the headphones, not the included speaker. Think of the speaker as a convenience to monitor the music or to find what you want on the tape without having to don headphones just for a second. It's ok to listen to, if you want, but don't expect great sound out of a 1.5 inch speaker. Just ain't gonna happen.Next, is the player itself. Pretty decent, no snags. Works fine.As for the radio function, again, don't expect anything grand. This is primarily a CASSETTE player/recorder. The radio is just an afterthought. If you want a portable radio, get one, this is not the unit you want. The frequency band is way too narrow to accommodate tuning in to anything but the most strong overpowering stations. I think I am able to get two stations on this. My favorite stations do not have a strong enough signal (or wide enough band) to tune in on this tiny thing.It's a decent, fun player/recorder... Not as good as the old ones, but it will do.

This device dosent peform any of its functions very well. The audio wobbles around a bit, and it plays are the wrong speed. the FM tuner is Insanely difficult to use. the built in mic and recording function barely sufice for clear dictation. quality tape decks are hard to find nowadays.

Got this yesterday and have just tried it out on an old cassette taped interview from 1982. Good clear sound, easy to use with stop, rewind, and play buttons clearly marked. It can also be used to record to cassette but I haven't tried that or the AM, FM radio yet. I can't speak to how long it will last etc but it is working well for what I needed it for and it was priced right. I received it promptly and it was well packaged. I am satisfied with my purchase.

Muy buen producto, funciona mucho mejor si está conectado o si las pilas son recargables. Con pilas normales no funciona tan bien. Graba y reproduce bien.
