As long as you have a drill or two laying around this is a great product. I don’t think it would work for towing recovery. I’ve used it for lifting and building and it works great. It is a steel cable not a rope. I was going to get the battery operated version but it wouldn’t come in time and this one ended up working better any way. Useful kit came with it as well.

It’s done a fantastic job hauling some tractor trailer tires of a ravine. My only complaint is it is a bit slow depending on your drill.

Works well when you need some extra lifting or pulling power. Fairly compact easy to use and good price

So the gear ratio on this is pretty intense so even at high speed the drill takes a while to move it, not going to haul around big stuff or pull tree stumps but does the job for sub 800lb work.

Just what I expected. Seems like a good product to use in the field.

I got this just to help move some little stuff around or I use it on my jib crane in my truck. My first test was lifting a completely assembled 4 liter jeep engine. My next test was pulling a stripped Cherokee 20 foot and then up onto the trailer and this little thing did it without a hiccup!!!! I’m absolutely amazed and I never come back to write a review but this thing has proved itself to me immensely! If you’re looking at it just buy it it’s one of my newest favorite tools on my work truck and I wish I got it sooner

Look it’s not a high priced winch but it’s a tool that I find very useful around the house for projects . Hoisted a wroth iron balcony to the second floor of my home that weighted in excess of 300 lbs . It was flawless!

Bought it for hunting with my side x side.Getting a deer loaded in my Polaris Ranger is too much for me as I am older.Haven’t used it yet but confident it will do the trick.

Used the baby winch to hoist a substantial set of hinged folding stairs off my dock. Would typically only need this in the spring and fall when putting the dock in and out of the lake. Used a 20v deWalt cordless drill to power this. . Estimate the stairs weigh about 300lbs. Hoisted with no problem at all, even using the higher speed setting on the drill. Was a little apprehensive of how durable the winch would be, but so far seems solid and well made. With the 750 lb rating will be able to use for snowmobiles an ATVs as well should the need arise.
