Seems very quality and doesn't need batteries to remember the input code for unlock. I put in an 8digit and left it unplugged after and was able to plug in and use the code. I haven't done fingerprint set up yet but that's coming soon!

Only thing I could want more would be a faster response on the lid and possibly a spring loaded fully open feature. Only thing I don't like is the lid only releasing and me having to pull it open manually.

Has all the features I was looking for it has the buttons instead of a key it has biometrics but I have problems with diabetes so sometimes my fingerprint won't work easy to use it has batteries in it it also has a USB port to keep it alive as well works great for me love all the features that it has.It also has a display for temperature, humidity, battery life display ( If you only use the battery, not the USBC connecter), and whether it is locked or unlocked.The lock-down cable that came with the box was different from the one shown in their advertisement it has a loop instead of the metal connector. I have tried the loop lock-down cable and it keeps coming out of the slot for the cable, nothing there to look it into the slot, plus it takes up additional space in the box

The details on this aren't all that clear in the reviews or description-- this is a nice little pistol safe-- it's got some serious heft to it and it's very easy to program just follow the directions. It holds two medium sized pistols and two magazines comfortably-- I don't know if I'd carry this anywhere because as stated it's heavy-- but the light is a nice added bonus.The fingerprint technology works well and I keep this in a drawer in the living room downstairs. I give it five stars-- I have many gun safes and this one is among the best.

I have a gun safe in my bedroom closet which is upstairs, so I bought this for the kitchen counter, as I always bring my gun in from the truck when I've been out. It serves two purposes. One, I don't have to run up and down the stairs every time I want to go out. Two, it's right handy in case we get our door kicked in while were watching tv or such any time of day. I used to just leave my gun on the counter, but I have a special needs son. He knows not to touch my firearms, and really has never shown an interest in doing so, but I felt like a pretty irresponsible gun owner, leaving him access to it. I feel much better now. My upstairs safe doesn't have a biometric pad, so I'm thinking I'll buy another of these for the bedside. You have to make sure your finger is centered and even from left to right sides or it will malfunction. It resets very quickly for another attempt, but in an emergency, the four digit code can be entered on the large pads in about one second.
