The installation was quick and simple. The system works as designed and programming our fingerprints was painless. Highly recommend this item.

1st thing to note, I bought as temporary usage to keep my kid from accidentally accessing my daily carry firearm and I'm using bedside at night. It seems to be relatively robust, it's definitely not lacking in size or weight. A few things to know:1) most of the reviews for this product are a different version of a Patron safe, so I included the pictures of the one I have. 2) Do not expect super high level of security, I would only recommend using this while you're at home or for your car (have a more secure safe to lock up firearms if you are not around). 3) Keypad and fingerprint reader work fine and beeps loud when entering combo or using fingerprint. 4) There is a nice cushion to hold/protect your firearm from scratches, but may not fit if you have a light/laser mounted that sits close to or protrudes past the front of the barrel. That is something I would knock it for since the cushion cannot easily be cut larger, but you can remove it (takes a little elbow grease to get out). It happened that my OWB holster perfectly fit in its place, so it worked out. 5) There is a lack of instructions, so when you go to mount it, you need to take the sliding door off and unhook the spring, which it doesn't tell you how to do, so I added pictures for those who might not be able to figure it out. Tabs in the slide roller you flip up/down to release and slide out, then unhook the metal spring holding the door on. There are little finger screws that mount the plate to the safe from the inside. This is the other thing I'm knocking this product for. 6) There is a manual key lock on the bottom if batteries die. I'd recommend mounting safe to be able to access either key port or batteries (batteries inserted external from the back). Locking mechanism sits back behind the sliding door at the bottom, which I think is a decent security feature to prevent easy tampering. 7) There are 2 mounting plates, one with side/top mounting holes and a flat plate. I still don't know what that flat plate is for and doesn't have mounting holes, so I guess you could configure it for some custom position/application if you want to drill into it.Overall, I'd call it more of a fancy lock box and say it's very good for the price.

I have a few of these different safes. Some at home summon my office. I don't only use them to safely store my guns. But I use them as a money safe as well in my office or yeah, hiding personal products.

I love this brand. Bought a slide out & another pop up top style. I still need to set up my code so unsure about that but it is a heavy duty gun safe.

Received this safe, and it looked like it was high quality. Looks can be deceiving. It would not power up, therefore was unusable. Tried 3 different sets of new batteries, scoured the internet and Amazon for troubleshooting assistance, to no avail. Had to return. Totally unsatisfactory. I cannot recommend this product.

Mounting leaves alot to be desired. When mounted still moves and is loose.
