I was pleasantly surprised by how well this portable kitchen hood performed, far surpassing my expectations for such a compact device. It works like magic, pulling in nearly all the smoke from my frying pan. I also tried the carbon filter that comes with it, which noticeably improves its ability to eliminate odors. However, as a result, it slightly reduces the suction power for the smoke. I personally don't use the carbon filter, and the performance is more than satisfying for my needs. Highly recommend!

The hood runs quietly enough, and even at the highest setting, I can easily hear my conversation partner. The package includes replacement filters, plus an additional 6 filters in a separate box. I’ve noticed that when I use it without the carbon filters, I get better smoke suction, although I lose a bit of odor removal. But it’s all about finding the right balance for your own preferences. I’m beyond happy with this product!

The smoke clearing ability is less than hoped for even when located at the recommended distance. The carbon filter was ineffective at odor control.
