This is a very cheap/chinsy little item. At FULL VOLUME it is little more than a whisper. It is extremely 'cheap' feeling. By the way, they're shipped from China, so expect to wait a month or longer for delivery. Amazon was good enough to refund the seven bucks very quickly, but I wanted to warn anyone looking for just a cheap speaker to plug into your phone while you're working ... this one is NOT worth the time/effort. It is ... to put it mildly, a P.O.S.

I was trying to replace another speaker like this one that I used on a small TV to increase the sound level. This one worked to a small degree, but not what I thought it would be. It did amplify some, but the quality was not great.

I came from a similar speaker that had a 14 inch retractable audio cord to this 2 inch stub of a cord, I just knew it had to get longer and kept trying to pull it out. As it is I had to uhu (sticky) tack it to the side of my desk top tower to reach the port (instead of putting it on my desk or on top of the tower s it should sit)The sound is not high quality a little tinny considering its coming out sideways towards my knees instead of upwards but I didn't expect much for the price, I did however want a audio cord at least 6-10 inches long Booooo because no mention in listing of length... also says instructions included and there were none - at least I would not have been pulling on the cord every which way to make it get longer had some instructions been included letting me know this stub of a cord is all you got.....

This speaker is horrible. Package came smashed, no instructions. The photo shows the speaker is expanded open, so I tried to open it and immediately broke it. Before that, I plugged it into my computer to try using it and it never once came on. The lights turn on, but no volume comes out of the speaker. Waste of money and time, do not recommend!!

Returned due to description did not in any way match the sound. A ear bud given away on a airplane would be better than these. Stay away from this, unless you want it for a siren or alarm, might be ok for that, but not voice or music, simply is below poor.
