Bought this stand for my little cousin. The stand is super sturdy and the felt pieces prevent the trumpet from scratching. The stand is easily disassembled - unscrew to fold legs in or out - which makes for easy storage.

Okay, bought this to throw in my cornet case and take to band rehearsal. Right away noticed that when I put the horn on it, then lifted it up to play, the stand came with the horn. Okay - I'll just put me foot on one of the legs. That worked - good. So, just before we started on a number, picked up the horn, with foot smartly placed on leg. Went to clear the water and..."CAN'T BLOW ANY AIR THROUGH MY HORN...WHAT'S GOING ON!!" Guy sitting next to me says..."looks like ya got something stuck in your horn." I look, and what do I see...the stand separated from it's mount. So, from now on, I pick up the horn and wiggle it from the stand. Haven't tried it with my trumpet yet. Maybe it's the cornet's bell shape. Will update. Geez!...
