This works as it should. It is self priming and it transfer well. I didn't have any issue with using it. For it was worth the price.

Workes great pulled wine from the carboy to bottles fast and easy, only thing that would make it better is some more length for the power cable.

The little pump works great , problem is the filter basket does not fit through the opening on a standard 1 gallon carboy,I can't even force it down and if I managed to , it probably won't come back out. I even asked a question before purchasing and was told it would fit. I will make my own filter attachment. So if you want this to fit in a 1 gallon carboy this is not what you want .

Wow, I wish I had one of these sooner. Gone are the days when I spill half my precious kombucha during bottling with a ladel and funnel. The USB cord is a bit short, but nothing an extension cord can't fix.

We've been making mead for about a year now and needed a faster, more efficient way to bottle. This self-priming electric auto siphon is easy to use, and I really like that it has a mesh filter on the end to keep any sediment from getting into the finished product when bottling. It could just be the carboys we have, but we do have a very difficult time fitting the filtered end of the siphon into the carboy openings. It is a very tight squeeze, but works well once we finally get it into the opening. There is a plastic cap on the bottom of the filter you can pop off then it fits just fine. This isn't ideal if you wish to filter out any sediment though. Aside from that, this siphon is simple to use and clean. The on/off button on the top insures a perfect fill for each bottle.

I performance-tested this pump using water and found that pumping water from a container on the floor to my counter mounted sink it was able to transfer a liter of water in a little over 30 seconds including the priming time. That is 2 minutes per gallon or about 30gph so certainly meeted the rated 18gph.I used a multi-ouput power adapter (see photo) that was capable of 5V3A and 12V1.5A and did not measure to confirm which voltage was negotiated. The sticker on the pump said the motor was rated at 12VDC. I had tried another multi-ouput adapter before it and the motor would fail to keep running the first time it was plugged in and turned off, but work fine after after switching it off and back on (even off and on multiple times).I liked that there was no issue with self-priming and pump would pull almost all of the liquid from the line when the intake was removed from the liquid it was pumping. The materials supplied seem to be high quality. I am looking forward to using this transfer wine from carboys with minimum disturbance of the cover gas.

Works perfectly well. No surprises. It makes a little bit of noise, but it's also very very small, so it's not too annoying. I just use it to move water in and out of my larger ultrasonic cleaner, and it's perfect for this purpose. It moves it pretty rapidly, considering its size! Very pleased with it so far.

This works pretty well transferring lava lamp fluid from one container to another when I am filtering the fluid to make it clear.Only thing you really need is a USB power plug to plug the cable into. Little noisy for the size, and I wish the s/s mesh filter had an opening/mesh at the very bottom to ensure that all liquid would be sucked out. As it sits now when you use it, a few mm of liquid still remains in the container.Does the job. We'll see how long it lasts.
