I had previously purchased a package of cheap steno pads that were a big disappointment. These are the real deal! The hardcover and quality paper make them easy to use and they stand up to being carried in my bag day after day.

These portage notebooks are well-made and are true "Stenographer's Notebooks" as advertised. Lines are a tiny bit closer together than the "old" 1960's but are still comfortable for writing and recording. Measuring the lines myself showed the height of each line to be exactly 5/16 of an inch tall, which is just an iota shorter than in the "old days." I am very satisfied with these and use them for a variety of purposes most of which are short-term usage and/or to input to my computer/phone for permanent records. Not being much of a multi-tasker I also use them for copying info when on phone calls. If the notes are important, I save them online, sometimes taking a photo of what I wrote or simply inputting onto folders or documents. I highly recommend this product. P.S. Being an "old timer," I also use them for shorthand at times. lol

Very strong back supportfor taking anywhere. Won't bend on you, that'sfor sure. Slightly on the down side, the paper is not perforated above, soyou have to tear it offfrom the spiral binding.

I purchased several steno book products because I couldn't find any information on the backs except for this one. They indeed have the thickest and sturdiest backs. They will hold heavy things. Very easy to write on without a table. The pages are a good thickness. You can see a sharpie pen on the back but it doesn't bleed to the next page. It is a quality product. The front covers of mine did not line up with the pages when opened. So I trimmed a small amount of the cover off one side. If you're using these to write without a table to lean on, this is a small sacrifice. I am happy with the quality and will use these "in the field". I haven't found any others this good.

Excellent steno pads for taking shorthand notes, or using as a journal or notebook. Sturdy, durable, and the off-white color of the paper is easy on the eyes. These will be my "go-to" steno pads from now on!

Das Steno-Buch erfüllt seinen Zweck, aber es gibt einige Punkte, die verbessert werden könnten. Leider ist das Umblättern der Seiten nicht reibungslos. Es kommt oft vor, dass die Seiten hängen bleiben oder knicken. Insgesamt ist es ein solides Produkt, aber die Handhabung könnte noch optimiert werden. Daher vergebe ich drei Sterne.
