I have some friends to add to it. And yes, I really have a protector. Old school super nerd here. And just for kicks, if you also have one, they are a hoot at halloween parties -- but you must wear short black pants, argyle socks, penny loaders, a white shirt, slightly messed up hair and glasses with tape in the nose piece. Just watch out for the Alpha Betas. Seriously though: If you need them, there is nothing I need more I need to say.

If you have a pot that needs adjusting these work.

Tired of screw drivers slipping off potentiometers, I thought I would try these tools. For what you are getting, they are overpriced. But I recognize that they are niche items, so production and sales prices would be higher. Overall, my feeling is that they aren't worth it, as the quality on mine were very poor. Both of the ones I received, are not straight. Both have the tail end curling a bit (i'm guessing they soft plastic bend a bit while they were cooling after being created). The curl makes the twisting action useless., as the end keeps moving as you twist it. Both were thrown in the trash as they weren't really usable. For the price, I didn't even bother with a returns process. I'll just eat the cost. Save yourself some money and look elsewhere.

These work ok on the open end - which is basically the way a screw driver works. But the slotted end is problematic for small multi-turn trim-pots.It takes forever to get it lined up.You're better off spending the money and getting higher quality tool - if your time and lack of frustration is important to you.
